今月は、かるたの遊び方を紹介します。
こんげつ は、 かるた の あそび かた を しょうかい します。
This month, [we] will introduce how to play the ”Karuta” game.
かるた は、正月休み に よく 遊ぶ カードゲームです。
かるた は、しょうがつやすみ に よく あそぶ かあどげえむ です。
Karuta is a card game that [we] often play during the New Year’s holiday.
多くのカルタの札は、ひらがなで書かれているので、かるたは、ひらがなの読み方を習ったばかりのたくさんの子供たちに、人気があります。
おおくの かるた の ふだ は、 ひらがな で かかれて いる ので、 かるた は、 ひらがな の よみかた を ならった ばかり の たくさん の こどもたち に、にんきが あります。
Since many Karuta cards are written in hiragana, karuta is popular among many children who have just learned how to read hiragana.
かるたの箱を開けると、文字と絵の二種類の札があります。
かるた の はこ を あける と、もじ と え の にしゅるい の ふだ が あります。
When [you] open a box of karuta cards, [you] will find two types of cards, that are letter cards and picture cards.
文字の札には、特定のひらがなで始まる文章が書いてあります。
もじ の ふだ に は、とくてい の ひらがな で はじまる ぶんしょう が かいて あります。
[Each] letter card has a sentence which starts with a certain hiragana letter.
絵の札には、ペアとなる文字の札の文章に関係する絵が、描いてあります。
[Each] picture card has a drawing which is related to the sentence on a matching letter card.
絵の札の上の端に、大きいひらがなの字が一つあり、その字が重要な手がかりになります。
え の ふだ の うえ の はし に、おおきい ひらがな の じ が ひとつ あり、その じ が、 じゅうような てがかり に なります。
On the top corner of [each] picture card, there is one big hiragana letter and the letter is an important clue.
対戦相手より早くペアを見つけ、正しかったら、その絵の札がもらえます。
たいせんあいて より はやく ぺあ を みつけ、 ただしかったら、その え の ふだ が もらえます。
If [you] match [the picture card and the letter card] correctly [to make a pair] before the other player finds a match, [you] can get the picture card.
一番多く、絵の札を取った人が、勝ちです。
The player who gets the most picture cards is the
winner.
準備はいいですか。
じゅんび は いいです か。
Are you ready [to play]?
最初に、みんなに絵の札がよく見えるように、床に全部の絵札を置きます。
さいしょ に、 みんな に え の ふだ が よく みえる ように、 ゆか に ぜんぶ の えふだ を おきます。
First, [you] put all the picture cards on the floor so that every player can see them well.
次に、みんなが札の周りに座り、対戦に備えます。
つぎ に、みんな が ふだ の まわり に すわり、 たいせん に そなえます。
Next, players sit around the cards and get ready
to play.
文字の札を読む人が、一人、必要です。
もじ の ふだ を よむ ひと が、 ひとり、 ひつよう です。
[We] need one person who reads letter cards.
読み手が読んだ文章の、一番最初のひらがなを聞いたらすぐ、そのひらがなや、関連した絵がかかれている札を探します。
よみて が よんだ ぶんしょう の、 いちばん さいしょ の ひらがな を きいたら すぐ、その ひらがな や、 かんれんした え が、 かかれている ふだ を さがします。
As soon as [you] hear the first hiragana letter of a sentence read out by the reader, [you] try to find the [picture] card which has the [same] hiragana and the related drawing.
かるたを手に入れて、遊んでみてね。
かるた を て に いれて、 あそんで みて ね。
