今日は、お正月飾りを取り外す日です。
きょうは、おしょうがつかざりを とりはずす ひ です。

たとえば、門には、

門の左右に、松が飾ってあります。
もんの さゆうに まつが かざってあります。
(A pair of decorative pine trees are put up at the gate,
both on the right-hand-side and the lef-hand-side.)
これら略式の門松も同じです。
これら りゃくしきの かどまつも おなじ です。
(These informal ones are the same.)
また、玄関には、
また、げんかんには、

わらで作ったしめ飾りがあります。
わらで つくった しめかざりが あります。
(a New Year festoon made of sacred straw)
どちらも、神様に来てもらうための目印です。
どちらも、かみさまに きてもらう ための めじるし です。
（Both are the marks to invite the Gods.)
取り外したお正月飾りは、神社で燃やします。
とりはずした おしょうがつかざりは、じんじゃで もやします。
(We will burn the dcorations taken away at shrine.)
これを、どんと焼きと言います。
これを、どんとやきといいます。
(This burning action is called "donto-yaki")
